All auctions / Music & Musical Instruments / Yamaha - KX-W321 Dual Auto-Reverse Compact Audio-cassette deck
Yamaha KX-W321 dual stereo cassette deck, manufactured by Yamaha Corporation (circa 1998–2001). Technically in 100% good working condition (playback on both decks, recording on Deck B, rewind and loop functions operate properly); visually in neat condition with light signs of use appropriate to age. For analog cassette enthusiasts, the KX-W321 offers an extremely reliable, modern dual-deck configuration. Deck A is specifically configured for playback, while Deck B serves as recording and playback deck. A notably practical advantage of this model is its equipment with Dolby B/C and Dolby HX Pro (Dynamic Headroom Extension). Whereas standard dual decks often lose high-frequency performance on dynamic recordings, the HX Pro system continuously adjusts the bias current, resulting in noticeably less saturation at higher frequencies and a perceptibly tighter detailing. Sonically, the player delivers a clear, dynamic, and stable playback. The deck features microprocessor-controlled full-logic loop mechanisms, automatic tape-type recognition (Normal, Chrome, Metal), and features such as high-speed dubbing to transfer tapes at double speed. Additionally, the device is equipped with an Auto Rec Mute function and a clear digital display with multiple peak meters.
