About the artist: Yamila Velázquez (Las Tunas, Cuba, 1993) is a contemporary artist who uses digital intelligence tools, currently living and working in Alicante, Spain. Owner and partner of a company dedicated to the sale, representation and development of artists and artworks, Velázquez combines her business vision with deep artistic sensitivity. This young Cuban talent has established herself in the field of digital art, using contemporary means to explore themes related to nature, landscape, and the intimate relationship between woman and her environment. Her works address with subtlety and strong visual impact topics such as beauty, love, sensuality, and feminine delicacy, always framed in enveloping, romantic, and refined atmospheres. With a vibrant and expressive aesthetic, Yamila Velázquez manages to fuse classical influences with a modern language, resulting in versatile, fresh, and deeply evocative works. The painterly texture of her images, the masterful use of color, and the emotionally balanced composition position her work as a current artistic proposal with high aesthetic value. Shipping and presentation: The work will be carefully packaged by a professional and shipped in a rigid cardboard tube, internally protected with bubble wrap to guarantee its integrity during transport. Shipments are made through reliable courier companies such as UPS, FedEx, or Correos España, depending on the destination and the most convenient option in each case. The estimated delivery time is 7 to 10 days, though it may vary depending on the destination country. The sculpture depicts the image of Jesus Christ bearing the crown of thorns, leaning with lowered gaze and hands clasped in a deep prayer posture, meticulously constructed with blocks and pieces of assembled stone. The work mystically connects with the tradition of Kintsugi—the Japanese art of repairing broken objects by joining their cracks with gold lacquer to exalt their scars—by allowing intense glints of golden light to emerge from the pronounced cracks that traverse his face, hands, and cloak. Instead of conveying fragility or ruin, the warm glow that emanates through the ruptures symbolizes grace, spiritual healing, and redemption, transforming pain and suffering into a manifestation of divine light where breaking becomes the greatest source of beauty and strength.
