About the artist: Yamila Velázquez (Las Tunas, Cuba, 1993) is a contemporary artist who uses digital intelligence tools; she currently lives and works in Alicante, Spain. Owner and partner of a company dedicated to the sale, representation and development of artists and artworks, Velázquez combines her business vision with a deep artistic sensitivity. This young Cuban talent has established herself in the realm of digital art, using contemporary means to explore themes related to nature, landscape and the intimate relationship between a woman and her surroundings. Her works address with subtlety and strong visual impact topics such as beauty, love, sensuality and feminine delicacy, always framed within enveloping, romantic and refined atmospheres. With a vibrant and expressive aesthetic, Yamila Velázquez manages to fuse classical influences with a modern language, resulting in versatile, fresh and deeply evocative works. The painterly texture of her images, the masterful use of color and the emotionally balanced composition position her work as a current, high-value artistic proposal. Shipping and presentation: The work will be carefully packaged by a professional and shipped in a rigid cardboard tube, internally protected with bubble wrap to guarantee its integrity during transport. Shipments are made through reliable courier companies such as UPS, FedEx or Correos España, depending on the destination and the most convenient option in each case. The estimated delivery time is 7 to 10 days, though it may vary depending on the destination country. The image shows an enigmatic figure with elf-like features and porcelain skin, adorned with delicate cobalt-blue floral motifs, wrapped in a sumptuous crimson cloak embroidered with gold filigree. The woman holds her index finger to her lips in a universal gesture of silence, while a large butterfly or moth in ivory tones covers her eyes, extending toward her pointed ears. Along her ceramic skin, the butterfly’s wings and the ornamental background run fine cracks subtly joined by flashes of gold leaf, directly invoking the traditional Japanese technique of Kintsugi. This philosophy, which beautifies and embraces imperfections by repairing broken pieces with precious metals, gives the work a deep sense of mysticism and transformation, suggesting that secrets kept, unspoken pain, and wounds of the soul should not be hidden, but reconstructed until they flower into a new and resilient form of divine beauty.
