About the artist: Yamila Velázquez (Las Tunas, Cuba, 1993) is a contemporary artist who uses digital intelligence tools; she currently lives and works in Alicante, Spain. Owner and partner of a company dedicated to the sale, representation, and development of artists and artworks, Velázquez combines her business vision with a deep artistic sensibility. This young Cuban talent has established herself in the digital art realm, using contemporary media to explore themes tied to nature, landscape, and the intimate relationship between woman and her surroundings. Her works gently and powerfully address themes such as beauty, love, sensuality, and feminine delicacy, always set within enveloping, romantic, and refined atmospheres. With a vibrant and expressive aesthetic, Yamila Velázquez manages to fuse classical influences with a modern language, resulting in versatile, fresh, and deeply evocative works. The painterly texture of her images, the masterful use of color, and the emotionally balanced composition position her work as a contemporary, high-value artistic proposition. Shipping and presentation: The work will be carefully packed by a professional and shipped in a rigid cardboard tube, internally protected with bubble wrap to ensure its integrity during transport. Shipments are made through reliable courier companies such as UPS, FedEx, or Correos España, depending on the destination and the most convenient option in each case. Estimated delivery time is 7 to 10 days, though it may vary depending on the destination country. This work is a vibrant tribute to the immortality of Marilyn Monroe, presented as a mosaic of femininity and strength. The piece uses the actress’s face as a canvas where reality breaks to let a lush nature emerge. Under the influence of Kintsugi, the work celebrates the “scars” of fame. The golden lips and the vertical strokes that divide the face act as precious welds, suggesting that the true Marilyn is a union of public and private parts. The floral fragments and the deep blues fill the empty spaces of the image, transforming the icon’s vulnerability into a botanical armor of incalculable aesthetic value.
