The composition comes to life through a vibrant mosaic of short, juxtaposed brushstrokes in magenta, cyan, yellow, and orange tones, building the volumes of the face and clothing through bold blocks of color. The contrast with the neutral, gray-toned background, fragmented, enhances the luminosity of the expression and the broad smile of the subject, conveying a deep sense of pride, vitality, and visual dynamism.
