An exceptionally fine, early and richly inked impression of New Hollstein’s second and final state, printing with remarkable clarity and strong contrasts, with touches of burr on the left eye, hair, lips and chin. The faint, wavy horizontal line immediately to the left of the face is still clearly visible. Printing with subtle plate tone. With small margins. – The upper and lower left corner tips skilfully made up. Two short repaired tears at the upper left edge. Otherwise in good condition. | 1606 Leiden - Amsterdam 1669 | 15.-18.
