Zebra Taxidermy full body mount - Equus zebra - 20 cm - 9...

Pair of antique paperweights made from sturdy wooden boards about 3 cm thick, with two Zebra legs featuring hooves and original fur. They are two very interesting objects — essentially bookends. The dating of the legs is approximate, as they were imported into Italy from Ethiopia by my grandfather, who had gone to Ethiopia for work. Upon his return, he brought back these two mementos. From what I can deduce, he came back to Italy around 1960. The two trophy paperweights are in excellent condition despite their age; the wood is great and the zebra hooves and fur are in good condition as well, though the fur is a bit darker due to time.
