Zeldzame Bandai / Clover - Tin toy car - 7003 FRICTION...

rare vintage Clover Tin Toy Police Car – Ford Mustang Highway Patrol (With Original Box) For the enthusiast or collector of vintage toys: a beautiful tin police car (Ford Mustang model) from the Clover brand, part of the "Security Car Series" (Model 7003). This iconic piece of toy history dates from the late 1970s / early 1980s and was produced in Korea and at the time distributed by Bandai Overseas Supply Co. The car features a well-working friction motor (friction powered): as soon as you push the car along the floor, it drives by itself and makes the built-in mechanical engine sound. Features: • Brand: Clover (Security Car Series no. 7003) • Model: Highway Patrol / Patrol P.D. (Ford Mustang) • Material: Heavy gauge metal body with a high-gloss paint finish. • Function: Powerful friction motor with a loud mechanical siren (works perfectly!). • Origin: Made in Korea (Distribution by Bandai). • Condition (car): In very nice vintage condition with light, age-related signs of use (see photos for an accurate view). The paint still shines beautifully. • Condition (box): Supplied with the rare, original vintage packaging. The box has some light storage wear but is structurally intact and the graphics are wonderfully clear. A fantastic and nostalgic collectible that you don’t come across very often in this complete condition (including box)!
