Up for auction is one of the most historically sought-after and distinctive innovations in modern Zippo Manufacturing Company production: a gas lighter from the Zippo BLU line, specifically the model decorated with the precious geometric «Zipped» pattern. Launched in the second half of the 2000s and subsequently discontinued, the Zippo BLU line differs from the classic gasoline model with its innovative butane gas operation, designed to deliver a characteristic blue flame that is clean, powerful, windproof, and completely odorless (highly appreciated by cigar and pipe smokers). It retains the brand’s distinctive features: flint ignition via the iconic wheel and a solid metal case, in this case with an elegant satin chrome finish (Dusted/Satin Chrome). The front panel is embellished with an exclusive deep geometric engraving process that extends vertically along the case: a central column of raised rectangles framed by a refined texture reminiscent of the pattern of a zipper or a circuit.
