Hans Hammarskiöld was a Swedish photographer born in Stockholm. Hammarskiöld became one of the foremost representatives of twentieth century Swedish photography. His breakthrough came in the 1950s during a period when he worked for Vogue in London. During his lifetime, he photographed everyone from artists and authors to royalty and actors. Along with Lennart Olson, he was a member of the Tio fotografer (Ten Photographers) photography collective.
