Jacob Dahlgren is a Swedish artist who studied at the Royal Institute of Art and the College of Printmaking Arts in Stockholm. Dahlgren represented Sweden in the Nordic Pavilion at the Venice Biennale in 2007.
He frequently works with bold colors and color combinations in abstract patterns. He often uses everyday objects in symmetrical shapes and materials such as tin cans, dart boards, tiles, clothes hangers and insulation to create his artwork.
Dahlgren’s work has been exhibited at the Henry Art Gallery in Seattle, Turner Contemporary in England, MoMA in New York and the Museum of Contemporary Art Kiasma in Helsinki.
