Jacques Adnet (1900-1984) France

Jacques Adnet was a French architect and furniture designer, and is famous for his luxurious Art Deco and French Modernist designs. Adnet is an icon of Art Deco and French Modernism, and was one of the first designers to integrate metal and glass in furniture. He designed furniture, interior designs, light fixtures, and mirrors. In 1950, Adnet started collaborating with the French luxury fashion house Hermés, where he designed a collection of leather-covered furniture and interior accessories. During his career, Adnet also designed offices and apartments for clients including the French President.
