Kaj Franck (1911-1989)

Kaj Franck was a Finnish designer and had a strong influence on design and applied arts for over 40 years. From 1946 and forward he was the artistic director of Arabia ceramics company. In 1950 Kaj Franck also became the artistic leader at Notsjö glasbruk. He also did collaborations with Iittala design company. Some of his most prominent work are the glass series ”Kartio”, china series ”Kilta” and ”Teema”.
