Nan Goldin (1954-) USA

Nan Goldin is an American photographer working in New York, Berlin and Paris. She attended the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, but prior to that, she had a solo show depicting gay and transgender communities. She is known for her photography, and common themes in her work include love, gender, the home and sexuality. Goldin’s images can be observed as private property on public display. Goldin won the Hasselblad Award in 2007.
She is represented by the Matthew Marks Gallery in the US and the Yvon Lambert Gallery in Paris.
