Ray Bernice Alexandra Kaiser James was an american designer, artist and filmmaker. She is seen as one of the most groundbreaking contributors in the fields of furniture design, industrial design, manufacturing, photographic arts and architecture. Together with her husband Charles Eames she produced a numerous array of work that would be considered classics. Some of their most prominent pieces are the ”Eames Lounge Chair” for Herman Miller Company, the ”Eames House”, the coat hanger ”Hang it All” and the ”Wire Mesh Side Chair”.
