The 1957 Hamilton Tiger-Cats were one of the CFL’s most dominant teams of the era. Led by head coach Jim Trimble and quarterback Bernie Faloney, the Ticats finished the regular season with an impressive 10–4 record before capturing the Grey Cup with a 32–7 victory over the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. The jacket offered here was presented to players on the 1957 Winning Team, with this jacket, and associated lighter, attributed to Guard Ed Bevan. Recently sourced from the Savelli Family Collection, the leather armed jacket denoted "57" in the H of the chest crest and "57 Canadian Pro Football Champs" on the arm crest. The jacket retains its original Sam Hanson Sporting Goods Tag", Included with the Jacket is a Niagara Falls Ontario Zippo engraved E. Bevan '57, likely presented to Ed following their victory in 1957. The jacket fits a mens size Large/X-Large.
