In hervorragendem Originalzustand. | LOHÉ, YVES (1947) “Flying Seagulls above the Waves” Patinated and partially polished bronze combined with solid art glass, colored throughout in shades of blue, amber, and opaline tones. Mounted on an irregularly shaped, relief-decorated bronze plinth. An expressive horizontal composition. Resting upon an organically structured bronze plinth representing a stylized and dynamic wave surface is a finely modeled bronze seagull captured in full flight. Above it rises, supported by a discreet mounting, a second seagull in an identical flying pose, masterfully crafted from multicolored semi-transparent glass that reveals a remarkable depth effect when illuminated from behind. The edge of the bronze plinth is stamped “Lohe.” The glass body of the upper seagull bears an engraved signature “Lohe” on the side. Height x Length: approx. 18 / 52 cm. In excellent original condition. The bronze patina is attractively lightened in places and remains undamaged. The glass element is free from chips, cracks, or abrasions and displays the fine air bubble inclusions and flowing structures characteristic of this manufacturing technique. SHIPPING TO THE USA MUST BE ARRANGED BY THE BUYER.
