Seated female figure, Art Deco style, 20th century

Descriptio Patinated bronze. Measures 41 x 21 x 22 cm. Sculpture of a semi-nude female figure seated with a languid and elegant pose on a chair with a curved profile. The gentle twist of the body, the drape of the fabric, and the tilt of the head create an image of restrained and refined sensuality. The polished surface and soft modeling accentuate the contrasts of light on the shoulders, legs, and torso, lending fluidity to the volume. The piece connects with the decorative aesthetic of the 20th century, akin to Art Deco, where the stylization of the female nude and the silky finish of the bronze serve a modern and ornamental beauty. Due to its age and history of use, this lot may show signs of wear and previous interventions. Unless explicitly stated otherwise, no specialized technical testing has been performed. The absence of any mention of restorations does not guarantee that none exist. You may request additional information before placing a bid. This does not affect the buyer’s statutory rights.
