Topaz

Pure topaz is completely colorless, but is frequently found in a variety of colors, depending on what metal impurities have colored it. The most common colors for topaz are yellow and wine-red, but the most valuable stones are range in color from pink to orange. Hardness on the Mohs scale is 8. This gemstone is found in Australia, Brazil, México and Sri Lanka.
