From 24 to 28 May, the International Antiques Fair (IAF) is returning for its 12th edition at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC), Hall 5BC.
At this year’s IAF, over 70 exhibitors from around the world are coming together to showcase porcelain, ceramics, artworks, furniture, paintings, sculptures, watches and jewellery, making it a feast for art and antiques lovers and collectors alike. Alongside these exhibits, a lineup of exciting programmes will be taking place, including special exhibitions, antique appraisals, lectures and guided tours.

Of particular note are two special exhibitions on the fascinating world of glassware and traditional Japanese art. Graces of Ancient Glassware will feature Chinese antique glassware and, in collaboration with WADO PROJECT, Beauty and Faith: Mingei and the Essence of Japanese Art will introduce artists from all disciplines who are united in their quests for beauty, embracing nature in the process. This exhibit will also delve into Buddhism and tea culture – important elements that form the basis of traditional Asian culture and aesthetics.

Ronald Chak, Managing Director of International Antiques Fair, commented: “This year, the fair will continue the momentum by showcasing a broader range of meticulously selected quality works to collectors, connoisseurs, antiques enthusiasts and members of the public, aligned with our long-standing dedication to promoting exchanges of antiques knowledge across different sectors.”
