Surrey’s leading international auction house Ewbank’s is hosting an auction on 8 October dedicated to James Bond memorabilia. The sale includes props from the film sets, rare posters and signed books. Collectors will also find stand out gentlemen’s bracelet watches like those worn by 007 himself, and replicas of the super spy’s espionage gear. With nearly 200 lots, this auction should not be missed.

One of the most valuable pieces in the sale is the official replica attache case from the 1963 film, From Russia With Love. The case has the exact measurements of the film prop. Bond enthusiasts consider the briefcase to be the ‘holy grail’ of 007 memorabilia since SD Studios produced fewer than 100 of these cases, with this one being numbered 008. The case contains two hidden daggers complete with a working ejection mechanism, a magnetic talcum powder container, 10 concealed Gold Sovereigns, and rounds of ammunition concealed in brass tubes. There's also a replica bug detector in its original leather case, an original SD Studios folder containing mission paperwork and operating instructions.

Another highly valuable piece going under the hammer is an original British Quad film poster. Featuring artwork by Italian artist Renato Fratini, the poster celebrates iconic actor Sean Connery in the film From Russia with Love. A rare piece, this poster is sure to delight collectors.

One of the most famous Bond films, the 2006 Casino Royale, is the inspiration for a limited edition collectors' set by French luxury firm, S.T. Dupont. The set contains a handheld lighter, an Olympio extra large fountain pen and extra large rollerball pen, a cigar cutter, table lighter and pair of cufflinks with the same design as those worn by Daniel Craig in the film. All items come in an embossed leather case, with paperwork, refills and the original packaging.

Also up for auction is a special-edition Corgi set of James Bond Cars. The mint condition 45 All Winners set contains an unopened secret instructions packet, five model cars, a still-sealed pack of traffic cones and two sheets of racing numbers. Vehicles in the set include a Corgi Aston Martin 261, Chevrolet Corvette Stingray 310, Ferrari Berlinetta 314, Marcos Volvo 324 and Ford Mustang Competition 325.

Any James Bond fan will appreciate the rare, limited edition book James Bond Archives. Signed by Daniel Craig himself, this is one of just 500 copies that were made. The book was compiled and edited over two years, and features never-seen-before photos, storyboards, production materials, and interviews from more than 150 cast and crew members. Considered one of the most detailed 007 books of all time, these rare pieces almost never are seen on the market.
