Bamse armchair with footstool, Hans J. Wegner for AP Stolen

The Bamse armchair (also known as the Papa Bear chair), with accompanying footstool, was designed by Hans J. Wegner in 1951 and produced until the end of the 1960s. The nickname Bamse (teddy bear in Danish) comes from a journalist who described the feeling of sitting in the armchair as being embraced by a bear. The auction lot has green wool fabric and is in oak and teak.
Six chairs, model BM61, Børge Mogensen for Fredericia Stolefabrik

Børge Mogensen's furniture is characterised by classic and simple lines, with a focus on high-quality material. At Auktionshuset.com you will find several timeless design objects signed by Mogensen, including a set of six chairs in the BM61 model that was designed for Fredericia Stolefabrik.
Unique female figure, Bjørn Wiinblad, 1986

Bjørn Wiinblad was a multi-talented artist who worked with painting, ceramics, silver, graphics and textiles. His work is characterised by figures with round faces, almond-shaped eyes and triangular noses. The figures are often surrounded by flowers, wreaths and other organic motifs. An example is this unique female figure from 1986, which is painted in green and pink and measures a full 170 centimetres.
Gold-plated console, 19th century

This elegant and decorative console clock, in gilded bronze, was made in France in the 19th century. The timepiece is placed on a decorative square base, under a table with writing utensils and books. Next to the clock sits a classic figure on a richly decorated chair.
Zao Wou-Ki, Composition, 1971

Zao Wou-Ki was a Chinese-French painter known for his Abstract Expressionist works in the mid-20th century. He painted with strong coluors in large formats and has created several diptychs and triptychs. This composition from 1971 is an etching in colour measuring 53 x 70 centimeteres.
Rare copper engraving, 17th century

Another item not to be missed is this rare copper engraving from the 17th century, made by Lepautre (1618-1682) or N. Perelles (1631-?). The work's motifs depict the Danish Renaissance castle Kronborg with a view of Sweden on the other side of the strait.
