From 1-4 July, West Handyside Canopy, King’s Cross will be transformed by the work of 110 forward-thinking contemporary artists, the pieces handpicked by a committee of art-world experts. This is, of course, The Other Art Fair, the place to buy direct from independent and emerging artists, presented by Saatchi Art.

The Other Art Fair makes art accessible. Whether you’re merely browsing, looking to start your art collection, or a faithful buyer, there’s something for everyone. Thousands of artworks in every style will be available (evenly split, 50% by women, 50% by men) from £100 and with prices clearly marked – so you’ll always know where you stand. And what better way to learn about art than with the artists themselves? The Other Art Fair is unique in that it follows an artist-led approach, putting creators directly in touch with their audiences. Not only does this bring the artwork to life while supporting the artist, but it makes a great conversation piece for your next dinner party.
The beautiful, covered outdoor space of West Handyside Canopy, N1C 4BZ, is the ideal spot for art lovers to unite: there will be three limited-edition prints exclusive to The Other Art Fair from guest artist Ronnie Wood, a bespoke mural with mental health Charity Partner CALM, in-person artists, and plenty of art to be enjoyed.

Alongside his limited-edition prints, guest artist and rock musician Ronnie Wood will be showcasing brand new work, including incredible imagery of his fellow Rolling Stones members.
Other items on The Other Art Fair's jam-packed agenda include conversations on mental health with charity partner CALM, for which a colourful and bespoke, site-specific mural will be presented with artist Rachel Joy Price. Esoteric artist Bruce Asbestos will be taking centre stage with his giant inflatable eye, named The Eye of Newt after the ingredients used by witches in Shakespeare’s Macbeth. Asbestos calls this “a symbol that was quintessentially British”.
There will also be a handpoke tattoo pop-up, a prize winners exhibition featuring the works of up-and-coming and underrepresented artists from the local community, and a vibrant soundtrack from Soho Radio.

Ryan Stanier, founder of The Other Art Fair comments, “We are so excited to be returning to in-person events this summer. This year has been tough for the arts and events industries but we’re coming back fighting, and we’re ready to welcome visitors to enjoy and discover art differently.”
So what are you waiting for? If you love art, culture and getting out and about in London, The Other Art Fair is the place to be – and don’t forget your 25% discount with the code BARNEBYS25.
