Julien's Auctions, in Beverly Hills, has recently unveiled their music memorabilia auction, taking place from 16 to 18 November, and it's truly impressive. Featuring over 1,000 lots in total, this auction offers something for every music enthusiast, including an extensive collection of personally owned items from the likes of Dee Dee Ramone and Frank Zappa.

As always with Julien's, a couple of items items in their collection have the power to leave people breathless. Take, for instance Eric Clapton's 1964 Gibson SG, featuring a psychedelic finish and famously used on stage in the 1960s with Cream. But that's not all; they're also presenting Kurt Cobain's iconic 1993 turquoise Fender Mustang. Both the Clapton and the Cobain guitars are expected to sell for $2 million each.

Another remarkable stage-used item is a black military-inspired jacket adorned with gold hardware, worn by none other than 'The King of Pop' himself, Michael Jackson, during his 1992-1993 'Dangerous Tour'. This striking jacket was made by designer duo Dennis Tompkins and Michael Bush, who worked with Jackson during the second part of his career.

In early in October, Barnebys reported on the discovery of John Lennon's long-lost Patek Philippe Ref. 2499. This auction provides bidders with a unique opportunity to acquire a remarkable item that was once owned by John Lennon, a gift he received from none other than Elton John. The item in question is a Wurlitzer jukebox, which was, in fact, a Christmas present bestowed upon Lennon by Elton John. Notably, Lennon's final live performance took place in 1974, during which he joined Elton John on stage to sing Whatever Gets You Thru the Night, as well as part of The Beatles' classic Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds.

In 2020, Kurt Cobain's acoustic Martin D-18E guitar sold in excess of $6 million. What made this guitar truly remarkable was that Cobain had played it during the filming of the legendary television series MTV Unplugged. This particular episode featuring Nirvana was broadcast in 1993 and is widely regarded as one of the most iconic music performances in history.
