Marvel Television has brought some of the most beloved superhero comics to life on the big screen, and now you can bring some of that action into your home with Prop Store's upcoming auction. Nearly 900 lots of costumes, props and accessories from the Marvel TV series Luke Cage, Daredevil and Iron Fist will go under the hammer on August 12 and 13.
Here are the highlights that Marvel super fans shouldn't miss:
This is Matt Murdock's red Daredevil costume from Seasons 2 and 3 of Marvel's Daredevil. Murdock (played by Charlie Cox) dons his distinctive red and black costume and horned cowl as masked vigilante Daredevil throughout the series. This lot consists of a black Spandex and polyester blend hood, a red and black Spandex and polyester compression bodysuit with rubber shoulder pads and a black belt, a matching vest, a pair of black leather lace-up boots, a pair of gloves, a holster and clubs.
These are Matt Murdock's iconic round eyeglasses from Seasons 1 through 3 of Marvel's Daredevil. Murdock, the blind lawyer who moonlights as the masked vigilante Daredevil, wears his signature round eyeglasses throughout the series. This lot consists of metal wire-framed glasses with tinted red lenses and black urethane temples, a black leather case, and a blue cleaning cloth.
Here is Misty Knight's cybernetic arm from the episode 'All Souled Out' (205) of Marvel's Luke Cage. In the episode, Knight (portrayed by Simone Missick) is fitted with a cybernetic arm after losing her own human arm to a member of The Hand. This lot consists of a black, gold, red, and clear plated rubber arm with faux mechanical details, urethane knuckles, an elastic cloth sleeve, and a display stand.
This barber shop chess set table from Seasons 1 and 2 of Marvel's Luke Cage is used by Bobby Fish throughout the series, as well as his friend Turk Barrett, another regular at Pop's. This lot consists of a wooden chess board labeled 'Pop's Location' underneath, a wooden box containing 32 individual brown and white wooden chess pieces with green felted bottoms, a wood, plastic, and metal chess timer with two clock faces, and a red and black wood, metal, and plastic table.
This is Davos' aged Iron Fist mask from the episodes 'Target: Iron Fist' (204) and 'Heart of the Dragon' (205) of Marvel's Iron Fist. In the episodes, Davos (played by Sacha Dawan) steals the mask from the mummified corpse of a former Iron Fist and dons it himself. This yellow and black polyester and cotton blend mask features a knotted elastic closure, elastic lining stitched to the interior, and a white plastic nose guard labeled 'Davos' in marker.
