


The graphic works of self-taught artist Tom Porter caught our eye this week. And it's no wonder, the New Jersey-based artist's work combine the intricacies of Pennsylvania Dutch patterns with a shock of carnival colours.

The geometric patterns hail back to Op art masters such as Victor Vasarely and Bridget Riley from the psychedelic sixties and seventies. From prints, canvases and even cushions: Porter's patterns can add a touch of party to a room or look fabulous when paired together for the ultimate maximalism look.
