On 27 and 28 September, the online auction house Catawiki will hold their ‘No Reserve Day’. What does this mean? Almost 40 auctions will end on these two days, all of which will be sold without a minimum reserve price. Take this unique opportunity to bid on luxury watches and accessories, exclusive jewellery, diverse art, classic cars and memorabilia from sports, music and film. For a small taste of what’s to come, here are six highlights that we have selected from this great offer.

Wristwatches are some of the most sought-after items on the secondary market, and here you will find popular models as well as vintage pieces and limited editions that are otherwise no longer available. If one of these rare items is offered without a reserve price, it is an opportunity that collectors should not miss out on!
Catawiki’s ‘No Reserve Day’ offers many such opportunities, and one of the stand-out models is this rose gold Rolex GMT-Master II men's watch from 2019. It is a luxury version of the model with a “Pepsi” bezel, and the typical colours are accentuated by rubies and sapphires. Numerous diamonds complete the luxurious look. Of course the watch is not just eye-catching, because it also has all the high-end features one would expect from a Rolex GMT-Master II.

No piece of jewellery is more iconic than a diamond ring. One such piece is being called at Catawiki, with an 18-karat white gold band centred with a rectangular brilliant-cut diamond that weighs an impressive 7.08 carats. It is accompanied by 30 round brilliant-cut diamonds totaling 1.30 carats.

In terms of popularity, no other fashion accessory can match the handbag. Many models from luxury brands such as Chanel or Louis Vuitton are in great demand, but two models from Hermès have become true icons: the Birkin Bag and the Kelly Bag. The latter has existed since 1935, but only got its current name 21 years later when the Princess of Monaco, Grace Kelly, was spotted with it. The Kelly Bag is available in six sizes, and the 28 cm version made of bright pink leather is available at Catawiki.

Not only watch, jewellery and fashion fans will get their money's worth on ‘No Reserve Day’: Catawiki will also present many rare classic cars for discerning motorists.
One exceptional car that will appear is this Ferrari 400 Cabriolet from 1978. Of the Ferrari 400 V12 with 5-speed manual gearbox, only 147 copies were built between 1976 and 1979, and officially there were no Cabriolets produced at all. These were created in smaller workshops at the customer's request. The present car in the colour "Azzurro Hyperion" was converted at the German atelier Stommel-Con Moda.

Real rarities can also be found among the memorabilia. This definitely includes The Rolling Stones LP album Get Yer Ya-Ya's Out! from 1970. On the cover of the live album, which includes tracks like ‘Sympathy for the Devil’ and ‘Jumpin ’Jack Flash’, you can see the band's recently deceased drummer, Charlie Watts, who signed the cover with a black marker.

Fans of soccer star Lionel Messi can also look forward to a signed collector's item. The Argentine player immortalised himself on the home shirt of his long-time club FC Barcelona this year before moving to Paris Saint-Germain. Messi has repeatedly been the top scorer in Europe, the Spanish league and the Copa del Rey. He was also awarded the Ballon d'Or several times for the best football player.
