Helander Auktioner will hold their next hit auction on 2 June, with hundreds of exciting items including everything from silver and jewellery to textiles and fixtures. Here are three highlights not to be missed.
Gunvor Olin-Grönqvist for Arabia, Dish

Gunvor Olin-Grönqvist was one of Finland's leading potters during the 20th century. After studying at the Helsinki School of Art and Design, she worked at Arabia for over 40 years. There, she designed wall tiles, figures and tablewares with motifs inspired by fauna and flora.
Aino Aalto for Karhula, Bölgeblick ice cream service

In 1932, Aino Aalto designed the series for which she became best known: Bölgeblick. For the tableware, Aino drew inspiration from the rings that arise when you skip a stone over water. Her timeless design has held strong, and the tableware is at least as popular today as when it was launched almost 90 years ago.
Tapio Wirkkala for Iittala, Ultima Thule ice cream service

Inspired by the melting ice in Lapland, Ultima Thule is Tapio Wirkkala's most famous work. Wirkkala designed Ultima Thule in the 1960s by cutting into a mould, and the exclusive design reflects the thousands of hours spent fine-tuning the glassblowing technique required to achieve the unique effect.
