9th April: David Bowie

When David Bowie passed away at the beginning of last year, he left behind a legacy. His music combined art, high fashion whilst squashing outdated notions of gender and sexuality. Bowie's career was marked by his changeability and his love for reinvention. Ziggy Stardust, Aladdin Sane, The Thin Duke: all of David Bowie's alter egos had a different image, sound and vision.

Even legends have their heroes, Bowie put his world tour on hold and flew from London to New York to attend Elvis Presley's Madison Square Garden concert.
