Another piece made of yellow gold and silver is this charming Art Nouveau brooch. Enamelled leaves and flowers set with diamonds serve as decoration, as well as some cultured pearls that were added later.

This outstanding diamond brooch dates from the 1930s/40s, the stones of which add up to a total of approx. 20 ct. The three-part construction of the brooch makes it possible to wear its 'wings' together or individually.

Important ring with a fine Colombian emerald (approx. 6.81 ct) and 14 diamonds (together. Approx. 3.22 ct). Photos © Eppli

A real eye-catcher is this Colombian emerald of approx. 6.81 ct in lively green which adorns this important platinum ring. The green stone is surrounded by 14 brilliant-cut diamonds, which together weigh approx. 3.22 ct.

WG necklace with 676 diamonds (total approx. 105 ct) and 78 sapphires (total approx. 115 ct), Popley Dubai, c. 20th/21st century. Photos © Eppli

This haute couture necklace from the jeweller Popley from Dubai is a modern dream. 18-carat white gold, 676 diamonds totalling approx. 105 ct and 78 sapphires totalling approx. 115 ct justify a starting price in the six-figure range.

Loose ruby (2.13 ct) from Mogok, Myanmar. Photos © Eppli

The ruby mines of Mogok, in what is now Myanmar, are said to have been discovered as early as the 13th century. This oval red stone of 2.13 ct, which has no heat treatment whatsoever, comes from there.

Also featured at auction are a selection of wristwatches, which include all the coveted brands for him and her.
