Academy-Award-winning Star Trek (2009) and Star Trek Into Darkness (2013) were part of a film reboot of the cult favourite Star Trek series, starring Chris Pine and Zachary Quinto. Prop Store's auction, online now through till 10 April, features some of the top costumes and props from the two films. Here are the highlights:
This USS Enterprise Phaser was used by crew members of Enterprise, the main starship of Star Trek, throughout Star Trek Into Darkness. The phasers were used as weapons that would fire energy projectiles in two settings: stun or kill.
This command uniform was worn by Captain of the USS Enterprise, James T. Kirk, (played by Chris Pine) throughout the film. This lot consists of his iconic yellow tunic, an undershirt, cotton pants and leather rubber boots.
In the 2013 film, Tom Harewood, a Starfleet Officer, (played by Noel Clarke) was given an explosive ring by Khan (Benedict Cumberbatch) to blow up Section 31. The metal ring is inscribed with 'United Federation of Planets' and 'Starfleet Academy'.
Lieutenant of the USS Enterprise, Nyota Uhura, (played by Zoe Saldana) wore this iconic red dress while aboard the ship. The lot combines this polyester and spandex dress with hero-style leather and rubber boots.
Commander of the USS Enterprise, Spock, (played by Zachary Quinto) disguised himself as K'normian with other crew members when they traveled to Kronos in search of John Harrison, soon to be revealed as Khan. Thus lot consists of a polyester outer coat in a geometric design, a cotton hoodie, cotton pants, and suede boots.
In Star Trek (2009), science division crew members of the Enterprise wore these insignias during their time on the Enterprise starship.
