We all remember the friends we grew up with – the ones who made an everlasting impact on us and perhaps even changed our lives. And then there are the Friends we grew up with: the ones we watched daily on our TV screens, the ones whose lives we invested in, and whose stories we cherished as if they were our own.

And now a Friends auction is coming to Prop Store: Warner Bros. Television is celebrating 25 years of our favourite ‘friends’ by offering iconic props, costumes, scripts and other memorabilia from the series. With over 80 lots up for grabs, it’s difficult to pick our favourites, but we’ve done the hard work and pooled together our top pieces from the sale. You’ve got until 17 December to bid and own a part of the TV show loved by all.

We all remember the iconic pilot episode: Rachel Green is introduced by Monica Geller to the rest of the friends after leaving her fiancée Barry at the altar. The script from the episode is on offer and is signed by the six main cast members of the series. It features a blue cover with the original series title, ‘Six of One’, and indicates that the episode was written by Marta Kauffman & David Crane with executive producers Kauffman, Crane, and Kevin S. Bright and director Jim Burrows

Smelly cat, smelly cat, what are they feeding you?
A box of Smelly Cat cat litter, from the episode 3.14 is for sale – though whether you would have the heart to actually use the product is a whole different story.
It comes from the episode in which Phoebe Buffay's former singing partner, Leslie, places their song ‘Smelly Cat’ in a cat litter commercial without Phoebe's permission. This unopened box of anti-bacterial litter is made of recycled paper with a yellow and black ‘Smelly Cat Cat Litter’ logo affixed to the front and pieces of yellow tape on the sides.

And how could we forget the episode where Monica interviews for a job and has to produce a series of Thanksgiving recipes using ‘Mockolate’, a synthetic chocolate substitute. All of the friends find the product disgusting and Monica soon learns that Mockolate didn’t receive FDA approval…
This flat red box was originally an off-the-shelf semi-sweet baking chocolate box which has been modified by production, covering the original brand with the logo for Mockolate.

The One at the Beach: in season three’s finale episode, Rachel wears her dress to a vacation at a beach house, during which she reveals that she is still in love with Ross Geller.
This blue cotton blend maxi dress features a Hawaiian print motif and a half-zip closure on the reverse.

In episode 4.02, Joey and Chandler are forced to buy a canoe for their apartment after they are robbed of all their furniture.
This canoe and its accompanying paddles are made of slatted multicolour wood with thatched details and metal screws securing the thwarts to the hull. The lot is in good overall condition with various signs of use by production throughout.

Beloved Huggsy! The stuffed penguin we of course remember as Joey Tribbiani’s secret bedtime pal.
Huggsby appeared for the first time in Joey’s apartment, though without the glasses and waistcoat it wears in future episodes. This stuffed black, white and yellow penguin is made of padded polyester fibre and affixed with a red stocking cap with a black-and-white checkered rim and a matching neck scarf with black tassels. It is in excellent overall condition with minor signs of wear from production.

We may remember episode 6.08 as the one where Ross Geller whitens his teeth a little too much – to the point where they glow in the dark – but another iconic event that occurs is when Rachel and her boss Kim take a ride in the lift with fashion icon Ralph Lauren (and what Kim mistakenly believes is a flirtatious elevator ride).
Rachel’s costume during the scene consists of a white cotton and polyester Paul & Joe button-down dress shirt (size 1) with a Warner Bros. barcode affixed to the interior and gathered cuffs, as well as a pair of black pin-striped wool Katayone Adeli slacks (size 4) with a black button closure.

Another iconic costume, Joey wears this when he and Chandler Bing, who is dressed as Santa Claus, interrupt Ross’ lesson about the Jewish Festival of Lights for his son, Ben.
This costume consists of a padded blue and red Spandex bodysuit (size M) from Rubie's Costume Co. with moulded muscles, stirrups at the ankles, a zipper closure, and Superman's signature yellow, red, and black Kryptonian ‘S’ applied on front, as well as a red nylon cape with a front tie closure and a red Spandex belt with a yellow plastic strip.

Could we ever forget the episode where Joey must give out the award for ‘Favorite Supporting Actress’ at the Soapies after losing his own category for the role of Dr Drake Ramoray?
This glass award is engraved ‘The Soapie Award’ and features a brass plaque reading ‘Best Supporting Actress 2000 - 2001 Season’, while the red paper envelope is labelled ‘The 2001 Soapie Awards’ and sealed with a gold star sticker.
