Born in Glasgow in 1966, David first reached fame as a phenomenal photographer at the age of 20, when he captured the now iconic image of Diego Maradona holding the World Cup at the 1986. Following an eight year period as a stockbroker, David decided to fully devote his time to photography, focusing on his passion for wildlife and conservation.

The Untouchables exhibition at the new 4 000 square foot Westbourne Grove gallery, will be unleashed to the public from 15th September and will run until 5th October. David Yarrow's photographs are truly breath-taking, capturing landscapes and beasts from around the world that one can only dream of seeing. His methods for enticing dangerous animals near enough to his lens for the best photograph include researching which animal is most attracted to which scent and then coating his camera in it as he lays in wait.
This August, Yarrow travelled to North Korea in his relentless pursuit to photograph some of the world's most uncharted territory. Travelling to the hinterlands of arguably the most secretive country in the world and virgin territory for Western photographers, David has described the experience as the most demanding assignment of his career.
In 2016, Yarrow published with Rizzoli New York Wild Encounters featuring works from seven continents and showcasing the earth's most endangered species. The foreword was written by HRH The Duke of Cambridge and all author royalties from the book benefit the Tusk Trust. Amazon awarded it ''Best Art and Photography book of 2016.'' Thanks to its global success, the book was launched in a series of events across the world, including exhibitions at Fotografiska in Stockholm, Holden Luntz in Palm Beach and at London's Somerset House.
At this year's annual Tusk Gala in New York, David's photographs raised over £130 000 at auction, including two lots, which sold for over £38 000.

In May 2017, Sotheby's photography auction in London, saw Yarrow's Mankind, sell for £60,000 which was the highest price paid for a piece in the hundred lots auction.
Yarrow's inaugural show at Maddox's third gallery space continues an exciting year for the gallery, who last night sponsored the Maddox Gallery Artist of the Year award which was picked up by Wolfgang Tillmans at the star-studded event, with the guest list including Jeremy Corbyn, Stormzy, Liam Gallagher and Pelé.
