Primetime-Emmy-winning show Jessica Jones found a place in the hearts of many viewers from all across the world, and now fans are able to go home with memorabilia: on 11 December, props and costumes from the Marvel TV series are going under the hammer at Prop Store.

Jessica Jones centres around the character of former (and brief) superhero Jessica Jones (played by Krysten Ritter), who tries to rebuild her life as a private investigator, dealing with cases involving people with remarkable abilities in New York City.
Among the hundreds of items for sale at Prop Store are costumes worn by lead characters and intriguing props, such as ID cards, books, magazines and newspapers, bags, business cards, drink bottles, tools, game consoles, eyewear and more. Let’s dive in and take a look at some of the items – warning, spoilers ahead!

One particularly intriguing and unusual prop is Dorothy Walker's bloodied death chair from the episodes 'AKA Camera Friendly' (3.08) and 'AKA Hellcat' (3.11). In the episodes, Trish Walker (Rachael Taylor) discovers her mother, Dorothy Walker (Rebecca De Mornay), strapped into the chair in which she had been tortured and killed by Gregory Sallinger (Jeremy Bob).
This armchair has a wooden frame with a rounded back and yellow microfibre fabric cushions on the seat, back, and arms. The chair has a large amount of red staining from fake blood and the remnants of silver duct tape wrapped around the arms. It is in good overall condition with some signs of wear from production, including scratching to the wood finish and the aforementioned staining.

Another captivating prop is Dale Holiday’s (Brian Hutchison) bear head with secret compartment from the episode 'AKA Pork Chop' (2.10). In the episode, Jessica Jones breaks into Holiday's house and finds a mounted bear head containing the inmate numbers of prisoners Holiday has killed.
The head is a hollow mould covered in fake fur with glass eyes, and sculpted putty details. The back of the head contains an opening and a metal connector that hooks to the wooden mount. It is in good overall condition with some signs of wear from production, including a dent in the bear's nose.

Kilgrave's (David Tennant) police station costume from the episode 'AKA Top Shelf Perverts' (1.07), during which Kilgrave wears this outfit when he manipulates the police into letting Jessica Jones walk free.
The lot consists of a fuchsia wool jacket, matching wool and mohair pants, a blue and black wool stunt button-up vest with grey polka dots and a belted back, a floral-patterned black, blue, and purple cotton button-up shirt, a floral-patterned black and purple silk tie, and a pair of brown suede stunt shoes with magenta laces. The costume is in excellent overall condition with minor signs of wear from production.

One of the most exciting costumes in the sale is Jessica Jones' Jewel costume from the episode 'AKA The Sandwich Saved Me' (1.05). Here, Jones and Trish Walker mock the bejewelled costume Jones wore during her first acts of heroism, from which Walker suggested the alter ego Jewel.
The lot consists of a sparkly blue suede and elastic face mask with two fake purple diamonds, a white Spandex jumpsuit with blue trim and a purple resin diamond sewn onto the waistband, a pair of blue Spandex and nylon gloves, and a pair of tan leatherette shoes with rubber heels

Undoubtedly, this lot has to be the star of the sale: Jessica Jones' iconic costume with leather jacket, which was worn during her rooftop meeting with Luke Cage in episode 'AKA Take a Bloody Number' (1.12).
In the episode, Jones wears her costume when Cage (Mike Colter) tells her that she's forgiven for killing his wife, Reva Connors (Parisa Fitz-Henley). This costume consists of a black leather and wool zip-up jacket with additional zippers on the cuffs and side pockets, a grey cotton shirt, a pair of blue jeans, and a pair of grey leather boots with rubber soles and a metal buckle. The costume is in good overall condition with various signs of wear throughout from production, including intentional tearing on the jeans to look weathered.
